For hollow gouges and turning tools, as well as interchangeable cutters for hollowing tools etc., up to 36 mm wide. Adjustable in cutting angle and shape. With the SVD-186 R Gouge Jig, you will get an exact replication of both the shape and edge angle on your bowl gouges and spindle gouges, so you can be sure that the tool will behave in the same predictable way on the lathe after every sharpening. Used correctly and together with your Tormek tool sharpener, there is no alternative method that can give you faster or sharper results.

The jig can be set for various lengths of the side bevel. Mount your cutter onto the special shaft that is included with the jig, and you get a controlled sharpening.
