M. Power Tools DC Fasttrack MK2 Sharpening System

This sharpening system allows the sharpening of bevels of 25° and 30° on one side and 27° and 32° on the opposite side, thus allowing the grinding of a micro bevel. Suitable for plane blades and chisels, without requiring time-consuming adjustments. The dry grinding system means it can be used irrespective of environmental conditions. Hence, it is ideal for use on construction sites and anywhere where quick results are needed without requiring maximum sharpness.

Insertion of the magnetically attached diamond stone with corresponding grit

Insertion of slide with alignment for 25° and 30° bevel angles or 27°and 32° bevel angles

Insertion of plane blade/chisel and fixing in place at stop against counter-pressure

Grinding of bevel angle by moving the slide

Where necessary, removal of the burr on the back of the blade

Tool support and slide are made of solid milled and anodised aluminium with dovetail guide and wear-resistant nylon slide rail.

Monocrystalline* diamond-coated sharpening devices:

Diamond-coated sharpening devices remain permanently flat, and are especially suitable for tools with straight blades, as well as for producing flat surfaces (e.g. backs of plane and chisel blades, plane soles, scrapers). Also suitable for carbide coated cutters, tool steels, HSS and non-metal materials (glass, ceramic, etc.). We recommend moistening diamond-coated sharpening devices with water and grinding with little pressure.

* Monocrystalline diamonds are significantly more wear resistant than the polycrystalline diamonds used to make lesser quality diamond sharpening tools.
