In 1910, Paolo Sorini founded a company in Milan representing brushes from German paint manufacturers. In 1916, after the passing of co-founder Augusto Migliavacca, the company officially became Sorini e Migliavacca S.p.A., acquiring 50% of the shares. With rapid expansion in the following years, they established themselves in the distribution of paint brushes. Their production facility in Milan, at Viale Espinasse 152, was built and expanded between 1928 and 1938. Specializing in brushes for Fine Arts, paint brushes, and brushes for paper mills, the company continuously grew with a workforce of 80 employees.
