The spruce top of the stringed instruments is particularly flexible and even the slightest pressure can deform it when gluing the bassbar. The method used by many experts is to lock the board to our Original Frame while fitting and gluing the bassbar in order to avoid any twisting.

We have noticed that many luthiers use our frame also for some phases of restoration of the top or back in which it is essential to keep the part to be restored flat.
