The FLASHE pigment, in circulation since 1954, was one of the first modern materials to provide alternatives to oil painting for artistic expressions. Its visual properties allow for the emulation of the effects of ancient tempera and the backgrounds of primitive paintings, with subdued, velvety, and opaque tones. It can be mixed with water and becomes permanent after drying.
FLASHE colors can be applied with brushes of various sizes, spray guns, or sponges. This versatile product lends itself to multiple uses, such as matte painting on canvas and wood, interior wall decorations, trompe-l'oeil, theatrical set designs, billboards, and the preparation of backgrounds for oil or acrylic painting. It exhibits high color stability due to the high-quality matte acrylic paint, characterized by a matte finish and maximum pigment concentration.
The paint can be diluted with water before drying, is resistant to water and turpentine, and offers high resistance to atmospheric agents. Thanks to the incorporated resins, FLASHE remains permanently flexible, resistant to light, aging, and the effects of oxygen and environmental conditions. It is particularly suitable for restoration, and being resistant to water and turpentine, it can only be removed with alcohol-based solvents.
