On one hand, with the introduction of a mineral stratum, the wood's pores are saturated, contributing to improving the wood's characteristics and protection. The coloring provided by these components introduces new nuances of color and increases the luminosity of the final finish.

The distribution of the particle size of these minerals creates different levels of refractive indexes between the layers and substrate (the wood itself), favoring the desired dichromatic effect.
