Sandarac - 100 g

Sandracca is a natural resin obtained from the Juniperus comunis shrub.

It is a shellac-like resin, but much clearer, and is used as a final varnish for lacquered furniture or as a varnish additive.

With this resin we obtain a film of high gloss and hardness and good adhesion.

Sandracca can also be used in some varnishes as a substitute for shellac due to the need to have a finish that does not alter the colour of the wood, especially light ones.

Our evaluation of the Grinepro sandarac resin
